Whirlwind Weekend

What a weekend!!

Kathy and I went to Iowa on Friday night for a whole 4 hours...my dad's play was GREAT! So it was well worth it...but man, driving ~8 hours total there and back in ONE day was pretty exhausting!
We got back to Kat's at about 3:30 in the morning and I had to be up at 7 for my seminar!!!

Which ROCKED by the way - I am so glad that I did that this weekend...not only for the fact that it was great experience to meet doctors in the field and other students...but also to solidify the fact that I want to get a diplomate in neuro so that I can call myself a Chiropractic Neurologist and see more patients that have lesions in the brain and spinal cord other than your typical Low Back Pain patient...basically, this means I will get more high risk and challenging patients...OR, more people to heal with the amazing powers of chiropractic that may have never known what chiropractic had to offer them!!!

On Saturday night I went downtown to Soulard with Kathy to a benefit for the American Cancer Society...it was a crawfish broil with all you could eat and drink...I just enjoyed a few beers and socialized...i met a lot of cool people - it was a great way to network! I tell ya - anywhere you go with Kathy you are going to meet A LOT of people. She had 4 people there from myspace that she was meeting for the first time!! :) She's great!

So - Saturday was another late night (1 am) and I had to be up at 7 again for the seminar at 8 on Sunday...and then I tutored yesterday from 12-8!!...phew

4 exams this week...easy ones....and April and Kathy are both out of town this weekend on trips...what's a girl to do?

Anyone want to come to STL and hang out????...I really can't wait for the weekend before the fourth - four day weekend! YAY - who's visiting me then?

OH - I almost forgot...Kathy and I got an apartment today - we were looking at one that they were asking 785 to rent and we got them to bring it down to 585!!!! It's about a 5-10 minute drive to school and on a major road that has access to EVERYTHING!! I can't wait for that!!
