What a crazy week it has been - first neuro test for the students I tutor on Wednesday - seems to have gone pretty well...I am getting rave reviews, which is nice because I was a little worried that I wasn't going to be able to get teach this stuff as well as I learned it..but I guess I am!!!
I have even had a few students ask me if I will do private tutoring...uhm, YEAH...
I love tutoring because it is helping me keep up on stuff for boards plus I am seriously considering getting a diplomate in neurology...which is basically another step up after getting my doctorate. Neuro is FRICKIN awesome!
I guess I will find out if I am really up to this after taking my seminar this weekend on Clinical Neurology Correlations (Description of the Seminar: Presentation of applications specific to the disorders of the human nervous system. The candidate will learn how to apply advanced applications specific to all areas of the nervous system studied in the Graduate School Program of Clinical Neurology. These advanced modules will be based upon practicums and patient based paradigms.)
Sounds FUN, doesn't it?!?!...well, I am excited :)
Meanwhile - I have been UBER busy with classes as well (4 exams this week) and not to mention the apartment hunting with Kathy!...not that we have done TOO much, but it's kind of a stressful thing!
OH - and Kathy and I bought our tickets to Maine the other day!...so, We're all set for that :D
I have been having a really great time lately with everything school related - so much so that I haven't had much time to do anything else!...I know, I know...I've said it before...but I REALLY LOVE it here at Logan...Chiropractic School...Saint Louis...TOTALLY ROCKIN'! haha
So tonight,...off to Iowa to see the 'rents and my daddy in a play - Taming of the Shrew - so excited for that!
Kathy is coming with :)...tried to get Kyle, but he's a dork and wants to do 'nothing' tonight since he has to umpire all weekend...blah! I'll get that kid to come with me sometime!
Hope all is well with my loyal readers!
