Chain of Events

I've had a pretty incredible week....and it's tuesday....

Well - I would have to say that my incredible week really started on saturday...

On Saturday I dropped by cell phone in the sink while washing my hands...UGH...now it doesn't work - well, the key pad doesn't work...the only button that works is the 'end' button...pretty much all i can do is turn it on and off...so, FUCK...and i have no time to take it in and get it repaired or even BEGIN to deal with it...thankfully frederic had an old verizon phone that he is letting me borrow for the time being...but that leads to a whole 'NOTHER story...

So, the cell phone incident was overshadowed by the amazing evening that I shared with Frederic on Saturday and then Sunday was equally amazing...until he had to leave for his drive to NJ at 4 in the afternoon...

Then there was Monday...which was a day filled with cramming for my pathology exam (the one class giving me the fits this trimester) and dealing with only 2 hrs of sleep from the night before because I was up until 2:30 am doing laundry and scanning stuff for my class for the pathology exam...and talking to Frederic while he was on his drive.
So, Monday I was very tired and very busy with studying and the like...

And last night (monday) I was charging the cell phone that Frederic gave me for awhile in the car on my way home from studying because the car charger is the only charger that Frederic could find for the phone...and i was talking to him and charging it so it wasn't really getting much of a charge...when I got home the phone wasn't charged too much and still had a low battery...I didn't think about it too much because I wasn't going to be on it after I got home anyway since I talk to Frederic on the house phone...

So, I set the alarm on the phone to wake up at 4:45 this morning so I could do a little more studying for the pathology exam that I had at 7:20 this morning (i hate the alarm clock that I have in my bedroom and prefer the tones on the cell phone)....and before going to bed I saw that the phone was still on low battery..but i figured it would make it through the night....

it didn't....

YEAH..that's right... I woke up at 7:18...my test was at 7:20 mind you!!!!!!! and I am 35 minutes away from school....

WOW - I NEVER want to do that again...I jumped out of bed - started screaming and running around (I actually have very little memory of the whole thing...I pretty much just remember repeating..."it's okay, Sarah...it's okay, Sarah...it's okay, Sarah" to myself LOL)

Anyway - I got to school about 7:50 (that's a record, folks)...and walked into the room...a good 65% of people in the class were done with their exam but I walked up to the prof and said
'My cell phone, which is my alarm clock, died in the middle of the night and I didn't wake up on time this morning."...
before I could continue he said "I don't care..."
...my heart dropped...almost in tears I said, "can i still take the exam?"
...he rolled his eyes and said 'yeah, I guess you can take it in student services'...he grabbed an exam and said 'are you sure you want to take it right now?'
...i said, "I have an option?"
...he says, after looking up as if pondering something, 'no, i guess you don't'
... lol, i don't know what that was all about

anyway - i took the exam...and was still frazzled so I blanked on a few questions - but heck, that's better than missing the exam entirely!!!

so...this just might be the class that ruins the 4.0....ack, was bound to happen some time or another, huh?....i hope not though...i still have the final!!!

How's that for optimism?!

The rest of the week will get better, right?
- Microbiology lab paper due Friday
- Micro workbook (5 chapters) to complete for Friday
- Public Health paper due Monday
- Microbiology Lab final on Thursday
- Physiology exam to study for that's next Tuesday
- Diversified and Orthopedics Practicals next week
- Finals start next Friday (2 on Friday, 3 the following Monday, 2 Tuesday and 2 Wednesday)

Oh, and did I mention that I am moving to my new apartment next weekend?!?!
