The State of Beauty

I have been planning on going to Maine now for about a month...it has been WAY TOO LONG since I have seen my family! Especially my Gram Worsfold...what an amazing woman!

So, I was talking to Kathy about Maine...my Gram Worsfold in Belfast by the Ocean and my mother's parents in the mountains on a lake in a log cabin - outhouse included....
And she said she would love to come with me....so I made the call to the g-parents to see if it was okay and SURENUFF...KATHY is COMING WITH ME!

The most exciting thing about this is that Kathy is a tri 8 at Logan, meaning she is almost done with her chiropractic schooling and she will be able to take a look at my grandmother Worsfold's condition and give her some advice from the non-allopathic point of view that she has been deprived of thus far. I AM SO EXCITED

Not to mention the fact that Kathy will get to meet my family...and she is AWESOME and they are AWESOME and it will just be AWESOME!! :) haha...yeah, can you tell I'm excited?

Other excitements:

My father is in a Shakespeare play for the whole month of June and I am going to see him next Friday with Kathy and possibly April and Brandon! He is acting in the play called 'Taming of the Shrew'...I can't wait to see him!
BUT THEN
I have a seminar in clinical neurology correlations that I am paying $350 to take on Saturday from 8-6 and Sunday from 8-3!! Which means that we have to drive back Friday night after the play so that I can be in STL for the seminar at eight the next morning..this is going to be FUN..but it's the only weekend I can see the play and take the seminar - so here goes!

I really can't wait for this seminar....it's something I am doing independently and outside of school but it is really going to help me to pull together the clinical correlation between what I have learned in neuroanatomy and how it should be applied to a patient. It will be my first seminar of many more to come - I am also going to take a seminar(s) for acupuncture and SOT (a chiropractic technique) as well as seminars to get certified in ART (active release technique)...so, there will be a lot more experiences to come!!
