but are they enough?

words are exchanged within milliseconds. between miles. through internet cables. telephone wires. mouths.

but are they enough?

words provoke emotion. cause pain. fear. happiness. words create reality. life. truth.

but are they enough?

words are heard differently in each ear. louder in some. more meaningful in others. subjective. objective. presumptuous. present.

but....are they enough?

i can hear you but i can't feel you. i can listen but i can't touch. i can imagine but i can't look into your eyes.
