New-ness

Well - I now have a vehicle to drive...I guess I don't 'actually' have it yet -- but it will be mine either tomorrow or wednesday -- I am going to get the loan tomorrow at the bank for it...

It's a 1997 Kia Sportage! It has 94,000 miles on it - and it's a manual transmission...white, four door - super cute!
I already have plans to deck it out on the inside - I found these seat covers at Wal-Mart with dragonflies on them - they are blueish-purple and white...and there is a matching steering wheel cover with dragonflies on it...and floor mats -- but i don't think i will go as far as the floor mats....because, well...that would be dragonfly overload - but you get the idea... :)

I so look forward to having my own vehicle -- i have gone much too long (since freshmen year of college) without a vehicle...it is time! Something to take care of...

So...

I have a car, I have a new job....I guess you could say that I am kind of making new friends...and I am working on losing weight (although that will never go as quickly as I would like) .. at least I am sticking to the diet!

So, that is where I am...yay!
